Aitex and Ateval needed something more than an informative session. They wanted students and teachers to understand the present and future of the textile sector, not through theory, but through talks, innovation, real challenges and active participation. That is how TextilFest was born.
Less talk, more real impact

We brought together students and teachers from Alcoy, Ontinyent and Muro to introduce them to a textile industry that is more technological, sustainable and full of opportunities than many had imagined.

We combined an institutional welcome, inspiring talks, applied content, networking breaks and a hackathon to maintain attention and ensure that every session had a purpose.
A HACKATHON TO MOVE FROM LISTENING TO PROPOSING
The students worked in teams on real sector challenges, following a methodology of ideation, prototyping and communication to turn ideas into proposals.

TextilFest was not just another event to talk about the sector. It was a way to give visibility to AITEX and ATEVAL, bring the textile industry closer to young talent and generate impact in the region. More than 270 students and teachers experienced an event designed to listen, participate and see the future of textiles up close.
