PAELLA CONTEST for companies

It is time to prove what you have been promising for years at the office. That you make the best paella in the world (and beyond). That said, you will have to cook it against the clock, in teams and with strict organisation.

¿Will you manage to make a paella… or just “rice with things”?

Before adding the rice...
you will have to earn the ingredients.

The Paella Contest is a gastronomic team-building activity carried out in teams that combines an initial challenge or scavenger-hunt phase with a later phase in which the dish is cooked. Participants will have to choose and obtain the right ingredients and organise themselves like professional chefs at the cooking station.

You will be accompanied by expert chefs who will give you advice throughout the process and the instructions needed so that nobody has to rely on having cooked before. At the end comes the best part. Yes, judging the creations as they should be judged: by eating them.

¿DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?

¿Do you need to know how to cook to take part in the Paella Contest?

No. The activity is supervised by professional chefs or instructors who accompany the teams. You will have to divide the tasks are divided between planning, preparation, timekeeping, set-up and presentation, so there is room for all kinds of profiles.

Yes, provided you let us know in advance. Before the event we collect information about allergies, intolerances and preferences to ensure there is an alternative and avoid problems such as cross-contamination.

Naturally, the activity needs a large, well-ventilated area where all the right conditions for cooking are met, such as access, water and safety measures.

At Wevents we have run paella contests in Madrid and Barcelona as well as in other cities in Spain. We take care of finding the best location and managing the ingredients, utensils and staff.

The budget varies, as we first need to know the number of attendees, the venue and the additional services you want to include. The paella contest usually lasts around three hours and the minimum is 25 participants.

The basic quote includes instructors, ingredients and utensils. Drinks, entertainment, supplementary catering or a photo booth can also be added. You bring the appetite and we calculate everything else.
