Try the TIPIS CHALLENGE with your company
You will have to build and decorate your own shelter with poles and fabric. But the real challenge will be bringing different profiles together to reach the final result as a team.
Ready to bring your own tribe to life?
A tipi requires a solid structure.
Your team does too.
Tipis Challenge is a collaborative construction team building activity in which participants organise themselves into tribes. The idea is to build a tipi, a traditional indigenous shelter, decorating it with your colours and giving it your own identity.
During the challenge, you will need to plan everything carefully and divide up the roles sensibly. Everyone is good at different things, with their own skills, and the key will be connecting all the tasks on time. A 2-hour activity ideal for corporate groups.

How we set up the Tipis Challenge step by step.
01. We form the tribes
- First, you will need to split into teams and receive all the materials and instructions. This is the time to organise yourselves into different tasks and decide on the visual identity of your tipi.
02. We interpret the design
- Before building anything, it is advisable to understand how the structure works so you have a clear plan for how to assemble it. There are different stages, resources are limited and you need to make decisions about how each part of the work fits together.
03. We build the tipis
- We start building these 2.7-metre superstructures. You will need to coordinate and solve any unexpected issues that arise. Theory and practice do not always go perfectly together, so you will have to work out how to resolve things as a team.
04. We give each shelter its own identity
- Once the structure is finished, the next mission is to decorate it with your team symbols, as well as with the colours and elements that help tell the company story.
05. We celebrate the union of the tribes
- All the teams present their tipi to the rest and explain their proposal. Together, we will recognise the work of the tribes and take photos and videos to create a powerful audiovisual memento.

DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
Do you need construction experience?
No. Our team will explain the challenge step by step and give you the instructions. No technical knowledge is required here; organisational and communication skills will be enough. Oh, and a good dose of creativity will not go amiss either.
How many people can take part and how long does it last?
The format lasts around two hours and is designed for groups of 25 to more than 100 participants. We can adapt the distribution into tribes to the total number of attendees.
Where can the Tipis Challenge be organised?
You need a fairly large space that allows several 2.7-metre structures to be erected. It must be possible to work safely around them. A good idea is to look for estates with gardens, or large open areas and event venues.
At Wevents we help you find the location before the event so that the set-up and distribution of the tribes runs perfectly.
How much does it cost to organise the Tipis Challenge?
To provide you with a final quote, we will need to know the number of participants, the city, the venue and the level of customisation you are looking for. The initial price will always include the facilitators and the materials needed to build the tipis, although we can add catering and other extras if you wish.
